We hence learn that a certain Recul頳old the property "of spices and sugar canes" to Mr. Montmirail who had fled the French revolution in 1793. In 1812, Mr. et Mrs. Robinson bought the property and later sold it to Mr. Eug讥 Lecl麩o in 1856, father of Sir Eug讥 Lecl麩o, chief of justice and Sir Henry Lecl麩o, attorney and member of the Legislative Assembly.Eureka is in fact more than a museum. The property will delight all nature lovers. The visitor enters a world of peace and calm.The English style gardens have replaced the sugar cane fields and spice trees which were originally at Eurꫡ.
